Seize the Day

Recently, I’m always complaining about lack of time. I couldn’t finish my tasks on time. What’s more, I even fooled about all day. I was worried and didn’t know how to do.

There is an old saying: “Seize the day”. As we know, every body has three days---- yesterday, to-day and tomorrow. Since yesterday has gone and tomorrow still hasn’t come, what we could seize is today. So today may be of the most importance in our lives.

Then how do we seize today? The most important is to value the time we have now and make no waste. We should get into the good habit of racing with time; we should make full use of time to do useful things; we should finish the things we can do today and never put them off until tomorrow; we also shouldn’t have delay, idleness and complaint of it.

Many people think that time is money, but I don’t think so.

Time is even more precious than money. When money is spent, we can get it back. But when time is wast-ed, we can never get it back again. There are many proverbs about time: “How time flies. Time flies never to be recalled.” All of them show how precious time is! Wasting time is just like wasting lives.

     Today is now, today is future. If we seize today, we will seize tomorrow. Otherwise, we will lose both of them. So let’s make full use of the moment we have and seize it.
